The Energy Efficiency Council will be hosting two forums over the next month to explore the impact of changing gas prices.
The Energy Efficiency Council have pointed out that despite the dramatic increase in Australian gas prices, global oil and gas prices have fallen and asks what this will mean in a new era of uncertainty for energy managers and their clients.
The forums will explore what local and global factors drive gas prices, what might happen to gas prices over the next decade and how to manage the risk of changes in gas prices.
The forums are being held in Melbourne and Sydney. The Melbourne forum will be held on March 24 and the Sydney forum will be held on April 1. The forums are free for Energy Efficiency Council members and $69 for non-members to attend.
