Future of HVAC 2017 Conference call for abstracts

The committee for AIRAH’s Future of HVAC 2017 Conference are calling for abstracts.

The Future of HVAC 2017 Conference is being held in Sydney from September 13-14. The Conference has been described on AIRAH’s website as the must-attend conference of the year and that industry leaders will be able to “explore the advances, ideas and innovations that are driving the HVAC industry’s future.”

AIRAH’s website states that the Conference Committee are calling for abstracts focusing on a variety of topics, including but not limited to: advances in the design process, net-zero buildings, big data, advances in HVAC design, HVAC and smart grids, the latest HVAC research, and case studies focusing on dehumidification, commissioning and innovative HVAC designs. The website also states that by submitting an abstract, speakers are also agreeing to submit a technical paper and/or presentation before the Conference, if their application is successful.

Submissions for previous Future of HVAC Conferences have focused on several topics, including but not limited to: developments in building design and materials, off-site manufacturing, pre-fabrication, modular design, new technologies and research, solar cooling, biomimicry, the economics of the future HVAC industry, digitisation, IT developments, commissioning, laws and regulations, energy performance ratings, engaging facility managers and building owners, the changing nature of building occupants’ behaviour and expectations, future design conditions, and the HVAC industry in 20 years’ time.

AIRAH’s website also states that this is the Conferences’ fifth year and that it will provide the opportunity for attendees to “gaze into our industry’s future and contemplate the challenges, technology, and bright new ideas that await.”

More information on the Future of HVAC 2017 Conference can be found here.
