AIRAH’s The Future of HVAC Conference is currently underway in Melbourne.
The Future of HVAC Conference kicked off yesterday morning and concludes this afternoon. The Future of HVAC Conference program includes two keynote speeches, as well as several presentations & information sessions and networking opportunities.
Tony Wood, Energy Program Director at the Grattan Institute gave the keynote speech yesterday and John Thwaites, Chair of ClimateWorks Australia and the Monash Sustainability Institute gave the keynote speech earlier this morning.
According to the Conference brochure, some of the leading experts presenting at the Future of HVAC Conference include: David Ritter from Atelier Ten, Ross McCarthy from Aurecon, Alexandra Harrington from The Warren Centre, Jeffrey Robinson from Aurecon, Dhimendra Singh from Norman Disney & Young and Graham Carter from Lend Lease. International HVAC expert, Jonathon Woolley is also presenting.
Some of the presentations listed on the Conference program include but are not limited to: ARPA-E initiatives and research, Thermal potential within the built environment, Impact of the M-Cycle on future developments and Generative HVAC design. As well as these presentations there are five Q&A sessions scheduled across the two days. There are also two panel sessions being held on Mid-Tier Buildings and an International Round Table with representatives from CIBSE, ASHRAE and IRHACE.
