The Department of Environment and Energy will be holding additional info sessions on the HFC phase down.
In October, RACCA Australia published an article announcing the first info sessions, which were held in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane late last year. Now, the Department of Environment and Energy have announced that there will be two additional info sessions in Tasmania next month.
The two additional info sessions will be held in Launceston on March 21 and Hobart on March 22.
The Department of Environment and Energy stated that the info sessions will “discuss what the HFC phase down will mean for HFC users including equipment owners and technicians, and other changes to the program to reduce emissions and increase efficiency.”
The HFC phase down was announced by the Government in June 2016, along with other measures to reduce emissions and increase the efficiency of the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management (OPSGGM) program.
Info sessions will be held in all capital cities and some regional centres. They are free to attend, however attendees must be registered. Registrations can be completed and more information can be found here.
