According to a report by Climate Control News, Lennox Emergence Rooftop Packaged Units, sold by Heatcraft, are now available on BIM-MEP AUS.
According to its official website, BIM-MEP AUS is a global industry initiative that strives to address some of the barriers to the adoption of building information modelling (BIM) in the Australian building and construction sector. BIM is built on the idea that a building should be constructed twice–virtually first, physically second. Virtual construction involves 3D modelling.
This news follows the announcement of a global infrastructure hub being established this year in Sydney to enable BIM adoption. The hub will be funded by eight countries–Australia, China, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Mexico, Singapore, the Republic of Korea and the UK. Prime Minister Tony Abbott stated that the hub would help improve how infrastructure markets work.
Other packaged units sold by Heatcraft that will also become available on BIM-MEP AUS include Landmark, as well as other Lennox Rooftop ranges.
