Pro-Visual Publishing have released the newest edition of the HVAC&R Industry Guide to Workplace Safety 2016/17.

The Guide is supported by the Air Conditioning & Mechanical Contractors’ Association (AMCA) and the National Safety Council of Australia (NSCA) Foundation. The Guide covers work, health and safety issues for contractors in the HVAC&R industry.

Pro-Visual Publishing state on their website that this year’s Guide features Augmented Reality (AR) enabled content, which will allow users to access additional information and resources by downloading the Pro-Vis AR app.

The Guide for each year varies in its features. The 2015/16 Guide featured specific information on duct leakage testing, asbestos, confined spaces and the phase-out of R22 refrigerant. The 2014/15 Guide featured specific information on planning and implementing a safety management system, safety procedures, minimising risks when handling refrigerant leaks, airborne hazards from HVAC&R systems and electrical safety.

The Guide is updated annually and is designed to be placed on a wall so it is easily visible and available to contractors. It is updated every year to provide important information on workplace safety laws and how to maintain a safe workplace.

Copies of the HVAC&R Industry Guide to Workplace Safety 2016/17 are available to be downloaded for free from the Pro-Visual Publishing website.
