The inaugural ATMOsphere Australia kicks off in Melbourne today.
According to its official website, ATMOsphere Australia, which was organised by shecco, will consist of a full program of end user and supplier panels, case study sessions on technology, policy and market trends, as well as networking opportunities.Attendees will also discover emerging trends in commercial and industrial refrigeration, as well as air conditioning with natural refrigerants.
According to ATMOsphere Australia’s programme, the end user panel will focus on key end users sharing their experiences with natural refrigerant technologies. They will specifically focus on the benefits and challenges of these technologies, as well as future plans with these technologies. The end user panellists are: Michael Englebright from Woolworths, Greg Lewis from Countdown, Stuart Saville from Coles and Hiroshi Soma from Chemical Grouting, with Shecco’s Jan Dusek as Chair.
The programme also states that the policy panel will consist of presentations by government and industry experts on the latest regulatory issues and standards for natural refrigerants in the Australia/New Zealand region, as well as internationally. While the market trends will consist of industry representatives giving presentations on success stories and what the future could hold in regards to natural refrigerant based technologies. The technology case studies will involve break out sessions focusing on commercial and industrial refrigeration.
There will also be a HVAC&R associations panel with influential Australian and New Zealand industry associations sharing their experiences in the industry, as well as an insight into current and future issues. RACCA President, Kevin O’Shea will be giving a presentation on RACCA’s position on natural refrigerants.
There will also be Q&As held within the panels and case study sessions, as well as a networking opportunities throughout the day.
ATMOsphere Australia is being held at the Rydges Melbourne.
