This week is Queensland Small Business Week

The 2016 Queensland Small Business Week has kicked off today.

Kicking off today and concluding on Saturday, the 2016 Queensland Small Business Week will focus on helping small businesses connect with new ideas and prepare for market and digital change.

According to the Queensland Government’s business website, the 2016 Queensland Small Business Week’s events and activities will revolve around four main themes: collaboration and partnerships, innovation and entrepreneurship, identifying and seizing opportunities and preparing for digital disruption.

According to Business.gov.au, attending 2016 Queensland Small Business Week events can help businesses: learn from experts, gain inspiration from new ideas, network with other businesses, access new information and prepare for changes in the economic and digital landscape.

Although there are several events being held across the state, four key events have been highlighted for businesses to attend: the Toowoomba ‘Fit for Change’ Workshops and Plenary Lunch, the Cairns ‘Fit for Change’ Workshops and Plenary Lunch, the Rockhampton ‘Fit for Change’ Workshops and Plenary Lunch and the Logan ‘Fit for Change’ Workshops and Plenary Breakfast.

More information on the 2016 Queensland Small Business Week, including an events calendar, can be found here.
