About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced Refrigeration Installation Technician to join our QLD team.  Reporting to the Installation Project Manager your primary responsibilities will involve:

  • Installations of commercial refrigeration equipment across new stores and refurbishments
  • Assemble and construct refrigeration equipment to design plans
  • When and as required, occasional commissioning and refrigeration plant servicing
  • Troubleshooting technical problems as they arise
  • This role will require travel across QLD and sometimes interstate with evening work also required

What we’re looking for

Woolworths Refrigeration Installation is one of the largest providers of refrigeration installation services in Australia. We are continuing to grow by providing outstanding engineering and maintenance solutions to our selected customers across the nation. As part of Australia’s biggest retail group, Woolworths Group, we understand that people are important to the success of our business.

If the following sums you up we would love to hear from you:

  • Demonstrated experience in installations of a broad range of commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Trade qualification Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
  • A current and valid Australian Drivers Licence.
  • A current and valid ArcTick Refrigerant Handling License.
  • A strong customer and team focus
  • Attention to detail and focus on safety and quality.
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • The ability to prioritise competing tasks and work under pressure without direct supervision.
  • Whilst not essential, supermarket and/or retail experience would be advantageous
