Business.gov.au have released a list of key dates for small business owners.
The selected key dates are from January until October this year, kicking off with the December monthly BAS statement due date on 22 January.
The list revolves around the due dates for monthly and quarterly BAS, super guarantee contributions, and PAYG instalments. The list also includes annual due dates such as 21 May for the Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) return, 16 July for PAYG payment summaries to be provided to employees, 14 August for PAYG withholding annual reports, and 28 August for taxable payment annual reports.
The list also includes when fuel tax credit rates change.
The list ends on 31 October when 2018 income tax returns are due.
