The National Construction Code (NCC) 2016 is now in effect.
The NCC 2016 came into effect on Sunday (1 May) and incorporates all the latest amendments into both the Building and Plumbing Codes of Australia.
The NCC 2016 is freely available and online to download at the Australian Building Codes Board’s (ABCB) website.
Last week, the ABCB posted videos of their NCC 2016 information seminars on YouTube, which were held across the country, throughout February and March. The information seminars provided an overview of the amendments to the NCC, as well as changes to Australian Standards referenced in the NCC.
