The Parliamentary Renewable and Sustainable Energy Group (PRASEG) Annual Conference is being held in London tomorrow.
According to their website, PRASEG is a cross party group for UK politicians and senior industry stakeholders to promote sustainable energy issues in Parliament and the UK community. PRASEG currently has 115 parliamentary members and 250 industry members. The PRASEG Annual Conference focuses on current and leading sustainable energy issues that can affect both UK legislation and the UK community.
This year’s Conference theme is “Energy 2020: The Disruptive Decade?” which will explore transformation in the UK energy system over the next decade as well as the domino effect from these transformations on energy investment energy sector businesses and energy policies and regulatory priorities. Previous themes have included “After EMR: What next for renewable and sustainable energy?” and “Keeping the lights on: At what cost?”
Speakers at this year’s Conference vary from MPs to CEOs, Chairman and Directors. Some of the speakers include but are not limited to: Alan Whitehead MP, CEO of Sustainable Energy Association Dave Snowden and Greenpeace Chief Scientist, Doug Parr.
