SkillsOne Digital Parents Showcase is LIVE

 

Do you know anyone in school that is unsure about their future?

With thousands of jobs slashed since the COVID-19 pandemic, job security has been redefined to those trained in traditional skills-based trades. Becoming vocationally trained in a skill enables you to transport your know-how with you to build a career wherever and whenever.

SkillsOne assists the Australian Government to promote vocational training and learning by engaging with industry, educators, government and TAFE to facilitate career opportunities and pathways in skills-based trades.

They have recently launched a Skills and Thrills Digital Parents Showcase available for viewing online here. The 25min video highlights the vocational pathways on offer to high school students, including apprenticeships/traineeships and school-based apprenticeships/ traineeships.
