Tenth RAC Cooling Awards on tonight

Award

The RAC Cooling Awards, the biggest UK industry event will be held tonight.

The Awards, which are celebrating its tenth year, will be held at the London Hilton on Park Lane with over 700 attendees. This is in contrast to the first Awards which were held at the Royal Lancester Hotel and had over 400 attendees. The Awards champion the leading innovations and environmental successes in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. This is complemented with the Awards night providing the opportunity for industry businesses to network with potential clients, raise their profile and meet with the Awards’ judges, who have had many years of experience in the industry, as well as meeting the winners.

The winner of the National Student of the Year Award, which recognises the achievements of the best up and coming engineers and celebrates their contribution to the industry, will also be announced. This year there are ten finalists in the running for this Award, the list of these finalists can be found here.

The Cooling Awards have not only grown in the number of attendees but also in its presence, this growth has lead to well-known UK stars hosting the events. These stars and previous hosts have included: Dara O’Briain, John Bishop, Rhod Gilbert and Russell Kane.

The shortlist of finalists for this year’s Awards can be found here.

RACCA Australia will post the names of the winners later this week.
