AIRAH is calling for abstracts for their Solar Heating and Cooling Workshop 2015.
The purpose of the Solar Heating and Cooling Workshops is to help the HVAC/R industry, as well as other industries push forward with innovation, as well as distribute information and expand the industry. AIRAH held their first Solar Heating and Cooling Workshop in Brisbane earlier this year. AIRAH found success with the one-day intensive format of the Workshop as it suits the industry stakeholders.
AIRAH is calling for abstracts between 200 to 300 words about topics relevant to solar heating and cooling. These topics include but are not limited to case studies and industry applications, Australian and international market developments, state-of-the-art facilities and lessons to be learnt, innovations in components and mechanisms, related technologies (e.g. direct and indirect evaporative cooling), system design and climate categories, construction techniques to minimise heating/cooling loads and industry development/capacity building. Abstract submissions must include an author biography and photo and need to be submitted by December 8.
Workshop committee chair, Jeremy Osborne stated in an AIRAH press release that the addition of solar heating to the Workshop agenda will provide a point of difference from this year’s Workshop.
The Solar Heating and Cooling Workshop 2015 will be held at the University of Wollongong on Thursday April 23.
