AIRAH will be hosting free flammable refrigerant safety seminars across the country next month.
The seminar brochure states that the seminars have been designed for those involved in supplying, installing, owning, using or maintaining refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Those people would include but would not be limited to: licensed technicians, engineers & building professionals, owners & facility managers and relevant industries & end users.
The seminars will cover several topics on flammable refrigerant safety, including but not limited to: the need for flammable refrigerants, environmental impacts of flammable refrigerants, the legislative framework for flammable refrigerants, safety requirements and storing & transporting flammable refrigerants. The topics covered are based on the Flammable Refrigerants Safety Guide.
There will be ten seminars held in total–two in Victoria, two in NSW, two in Queensland and one in South Australia, Western Australia, the ACT and the Northern Territory.
The two seminars being held in Victoria will be held in Bendigo and Melbourne on August 4 and 5 respectively. The two seminars being held in NSW will be held in Sydney and Newcastle on August 13 and 14 respectively. The two seminars being held in Queensland will be held in Brisbane and Townsville on August 19 and 20 respectively. The seminars being held in Adelaide, Perth, Canberra and Darwin are being held on August 6, August 7, August 12 and August 21 respectively.
