AIRAH will be hosting a seminar on refrigerant evolution next week.
According to the seminar brochure released by AIRAH, the seminar will focus on “how far we have come, the journey so far and what we should expect (from refrigerants) in the future.”
There will be three presentations at the seminar focusing on what will affect refrigerant evolution in the years to come. The three presenters are: Robert Beggs from Daikin, Peter Cashel from Fujitsu General and Kristy Harder from Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration.
According to the seminar brochure, Beggs’ presentation will focus on the proposed HFC phase-down under the Montreal Protocol, Cashel’s presentation will cover the introduction of R32 to Australia and Harder’s presentation will focus on alternative refrigerants.
The seminar is being held at the Kirribilli Club at Lavendar Bay on Wednesday July 15. It is free for AIRAH members to attend and $55 for non-members to attend, RSVPs are due by next Monday (July 13).
