Climalife have released an app that can help contractors, end users and other industry professionals work with the F-Gas regulations.

F-Gas Solutions provides contractors, end users and other industry professionals with a calculator to check the GWP of the refrigerant used in an installation, as well as determine the CO2 equivalent tonnes for the refrigerant charge in the system–the GWP and CO2 equivalent tonnes measurements are two essential criteria for the F-Gas regulation.

The app also provides contractors, end users and other industry professionals with information about refrigerants on the market as well as information on solutions on how to deal with new and existing equipment within the F-Gas regulations.

The app also provides solutions on various applications–air conditioning, heat pumps, domestic cooling, non-commercial, as well as on specific equipment chosen–single, split, centralised systems and so on.

The app is available to be installed from the Google Play and Apple store for iPhone and iPad.

The F-Gas regulations come into effect on January 1 2015.
