Cold Logic, an industrial refrigeration manufacturer as well as a supplier and contractor, based in Adelaide, is celebrating its 30th birthday.
Cold Logic, previously known as IRS (Industrial Refrigeration Services) before the name change in 1999, was founded by Jeff Cannan and David Lane in 1984. They started the business with two panel vans and a few tools. Today Cold Logic employs 45 people and provides services to leading businesses across the country.
Cold Logic’s first apprentice was Brad Semmler, who has since worked his way up the ladder to become Technical Director in 2008.
Cold Logic provides design and engineering services and heating and cooling installations in many industries ranging from beer and wine to food processing and production. Some of Cold Logic’s clients include Woolworths, Thomas Foods International and Coopers Brewery.
Over the course of its 30 year history, Cold Logic has chilled almost 3 tonnes of red meat, almost 1.5 billion litres of beer and refrigerated almost 8 billion bottles of wine.
