Application fees for RAC licences have increased

Application fees for refrigerant handling licences and trading authorisations have increased.

The increase, which came into effect on January 1, is based on the wage price index published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. The fees have been increased by 2.3 percent.

The Refrigerant Handling Licence (2 Years) fee has increased from $137 to $140.

The Restricted Refrigerant Handling Licence (1 Year) fee has increased from $69 to $71.

The Trainee Refrigerant Handling Licence (1 Year) fee has increased from $28 to $29.

The Refrigerant Trading Authorisation (2 Years) fee has increased from $442 to $452.

The Refrigerant Trading Authorisation (1 Year) fee has increased from $221 to $226.

The Restricted Refrigerant Trading Authorisation (2 Years) fee has increased from $137 to $140.

 

In comparison, the cost increase between 2014 and 2015 was by 2.5 percent.
