EVENT: AMCA NSW Maintain Building Essential Safety Measures to meet NSW Regulatory Requirements

 

Registration for the course closes TOMORROW 19th February 2021. 

AMCA NSW in partnership with Ultimo TAFE, is proud to provide an Essential Service Maintenance Course – Maintain Building Essential Safety Measures to meet NSW Regulatory Requirements.

The Skillset this course will cover is described in the Australian Standard AS 1851-2012 – Inspection, test, preventative maintenance and survey of fire and smoke control features of mechanical services systems.

At the end of this course the student should be able to:

  • Plan and carry out safety tests on essential safety services in commercial buildings;
  • Coordinate maintenance of essential safety measures;
  • Identify the relevant building codes and standards related to the essential safety services being tested and maintained; and
  • Appropriately document tests, maintenance and faults.

 

Students will be supplied with a training manual, and Student versions of Standards relevant to this course.

The scheduled AMCA NSW Maintain Building Essential Safety Measures to meet NSW Regulatory Requirements course will commence 5th March 2021.

Part 1: Friday 5th March
Part 2: Friday 19th March

Registration closes  19th February 2021.

 

Early registration is advised as numbers are limited to 12 participants.
