About three weeks ago, RACCA Australia published an article on what industry related apps are out there in the world. Now it’s time to make mention of another one, or at least make mention of an Australian climate control system that can work through an app.
iZone was created by Western Australia air distribution specialists, Airstream, which iZone is also compatible with. Despite being created by a Western Australian company, iZone dealers can be found all over the country. iZone can be operated by a touch screen console and/or app.
Through iZone’s touch screen console and/or app, a user can fine tune air distribution and airflow, adjust the temperature, mode and fan speeds to every room in their unit or house.
iZone is compatible with multiple air conditioners that are manufacturer by major companies–Toshiba, Panasonic, Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, LG and Temperzone, not only that, iZone is also capable of being retrofitted to work with existing ducted air conditioning.
Users can also create up to nine “favourite” temperature or climate zones to suit their lifestyle and surroundings and schedule when these zones are activated. Each home or unit can have up to 12 consoles and zones available, which can be controlled through temperature sensors on all the controllers.
According to iZone’s website, they have been asked by major Japanese air conditioning brands to develop similar control systems for their units.
For more information, including where to find an iZone dealer and an interactive demo can be found here. The iZone app is available to purchase on iTunes and Google Play.
