Seeley International have added another accolade to their name, taking out the Product Design category at the Good Design Awards last week.
Announced at a gala awards ceremony in Sydney on Friday night, Seeley International’s Braemar Superstealth was crowned a Good Design Selection winner in the Product Design Category (Domestic Appliances).
In accepting the award win for the revolutionary evaporative cooler, Seeley International Founder and Executive Chairman, Mr Frank Seeley AM, said he was delighted to see innovation and market excellence formally recognised.
“This product represents a major breakthrough for the industry because it significantly reduces energy usage and noise, and therefore, the impact on the environment.
“With a patented super quiet axial fan and a high efficiency inverter motor, the Braemar SuperStealth is the first of its kind in the world and is super quiet and super cool. It is up to 50% more efficient than the previous Braemar evaporative cooler, which was, until now, state-of-the-art.”
Mr Seeley said the business’ continued industry dominance is a result of a business-wide commitment to innovation, with a dedicated team of engineers focused solely on ‘over-the-horizon’ product development.
“This Good Design Selection Award is a win to be celebrated by the entire Seeley International team and our success has been achieved through dedicated teamwork and their unwavering tenacity over many, many years.”
This is the second Award that Seeley International have won in as many weeks, with its Braemar 7 Star Equivalent Ducted Gas Heater taking out the ARBS Product/Service Excellence Award the week before.
Managed by Good Design Australia, the annual Good Design Awards program recognises and rewards excellence in design, innovation and creativity at a national and international level.
