The third and final round of case studies for ATMOsphere Australia 2017 have been announced.
According to ATMOsphere’s official website, the ATMOsphere review panel selected three case studies from Scantec Refrigeration Technologies, Strathbrook Industrial Services, and EcoChill to be presented.
Scantec Refrigeration Technologies’ case study will focus on the rise of low-charge NH3 refrigeration systems discussing their current and future applications. The applications that will be covered in this case study will include but not be limited to: air conditioning and environment control, food processing facilities, refrigerated warehouses, and distribution centres. This case study will also include details on the systems’ design, installation and energy performance.
Strathbrook Industrial Services’ case study will focus on transcritical CO2 system performance in warm climates. This case study will explore what is happening within these systems over a range of climatic conditions, and why their performances drop when the weather is warm and what can be done to overcome these performance issues.
EcoChill’s case study will focus on the success of hydrocarbon systems in New Zealand’s produce distribution industry. This case study will “examine the use of hydrocarbon systems in the produce distribution sector and the benefits they have provided against traditional systems.”
The announcement of the third and final round of case studies comes two months after the first round and one month after the second round of case studies were announced.
ATMOsphere Australia 2017 is being held on 2 May at Luna Park Sydney, more information can be found here.
