The winners of the CCN Live HVAC&R Leadership Awards 2015 were announced last week.
According to a report by Climate Control News, a capacity crowd attend the CCN Live HVAC&R Leadership Awards breakfast at the Randwick Racecourse last Friday (14 August).The breakfast commenced with presentations on the Barangaroo Project. Barangaroo is a shared infrastructure designed and built by Lend Lease comprising of commercial, residential and retail buildings and will be Australia’s first large scale carbon neutral community.
The CNN Live HVAC&R Leadership Awards consisted of five categories–Sustainability Leader in HVAC&R, Emerging Leaders in Energy Saving in HVAC&R, Innovator of the Year, Industry Rising Star and HVAC&R Leader of the Year.
The Sustainability Leader in HVAC&R Award was awarded to Dan Granger from the NSW Department of Environment & Heritage.
The Emerging Leaders in Energy Savings in HVAC&R Award was awarded to Peter Dickinson, Chief Technology Officer of BuildingIQ.
The Innovator of the Year Award was awarded to Ian Rich, Managing Director of AIRA.
The Industry Rising Star Award was awarded to Leon Wurfel, Managing Director of Bueno Systems.
Finally, last, but certainly not least, the HVAC&R Leader of the Year Award was awarded to Frank Seeley, founder of Seeley International. Climate Control News’ report on the CCN Live HVAC&R Leadership Awards can be found here.
