Learning Slider

MYOB have published webcasts for users to prepare for the end of the financial year (EOFY).

MYOB have published a total of four webcasts–three for users of AccountRight and AccountEdge, and one for users of MYOB Essentials.

The three webcasts for users of AccountRight and AccountEdge are: “Preparing payment summaries and closing your payroll year”, “A quick guide to an easy EOFY in MYOB AccountRight”, and “Do you pay working holiday makers?” The singular webcast for users of MYOB Essentials is “A quick guide to an easy EOFY in MYOB Essentials”.

MYOB’s website states that the “Preparing payment summaries and closing your payroll year” webcast focuses on preparing payment summaries, what to do before recording first pays for the 2017 financial year, spotting payroll issues, correctly setting up the Payment Summary Assistant, reporting fringe benefits that fall under Section 57A of the Fringe Benefits Tax Assessment Act, and updating tax tables for the new year.

MYOB’s website also states that the “A quick guide to an easy EOFY in MYOB AccountRight” webcast focuses on what users need to know before closing their financial year in AccountRight, which includes: connect with their accountant online, getting books in order, entering year-end adjustments, stocktake, and completing Taxable Payment Annual Reports (TPAR).

The “Do you pay working holiday makers?” webcast focuses on how to prepare payment summaries for employees under the Working Holiday Maker program. The Working Holiday Maker program allows adults between the ages of 18 to 30 from eligible partner countries to work in Australia while having an extended holiday.

The “A quick quide to an easy EOFY in MYOB Essentials” webcast focuses on the topics covered in the AccountRight and AccountEdge webcasts but makes it relevant to users of MYOB Essentials.

MYOB experts are also available on certain dates for users to speak with if they need help.

The webcasts and more information on the availability of MYOB’s experts can be found here.
