The Energy Efficiency Council is hosting the sixth National Energy Efficiency Conference next week.
The Conference will be held at Swissotel Sydney next Tuesday (November 11) and Wednesday (November 12) and will focus on major issues in the energy sector. These major issues include but are not limited to–falling electricity demand, helping businesses adjust to rising gas prices, unleashing the potential of district energy, engaging households to reduce peak demand and what the future holds for electricity networks.
There will also be presentations and workshops on HVAC, refrigeration, data centres, quality assurance, cogeneration, lighting controls and thermal energy.
The National Energy Efficiency Industry Awards will be presented at a Gala Dinner on Tuesday night. The Awards recognise and celebrate excellence in energy efficiency in the following areas–commercial building energy efficiency, industrial energy efficiency, cogeneration, district energy, small-medium enterprise (SME) energy efficiency, residential energy efficiency, leading energy users, demand response and energy saving.
