The NECA National Excellence Awards will be held next month.
The National Excellence Awards complement the NECA State Excellence Awards which were held earlier in the year. The Excellence Awards–both at state and national level–acknowledge the outstanding commitment, innovation and professionalism of NECA members in their projects.
The Excellence Awards are open to NECA members in ten categories and are judged at state level, the winners of the state level Awards progress to the National Excellence Awards. The ten categories that members can win an Award in are Domestic Residence, Small Contracting Business, Energy Efficiency and Environment, Lighting, Industrial–Small Project, Industrial–Large Project, Voice/Data, Commercial–Small Project, Commercial–Medium Project and Commercial–Large Project.
The Excellence Awards are also complemented by the NECA Apprentice Awards, which are awarded to a fourth year apprentice or graduated tradesperson who has completed their apprenticeship within the last twelve months, to acknowledge their achievements on a personal, academic and professional level. The Apprentice Awards are awarded in three categories–Industrial, Commercial/Domestic and Communications.
The NECA National Excellence Awards are being held on Thursday November 27 at 7pm at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne. More information about the National Excellence Awards can be found here.
