Skills One launch new HVACR video channel

Training Centre, Skills One, have launched a video channel dedicated to careers in the HVACR industry.

The channel consists of 11 videos focusing on the career opportunities in the industry via interviews with technicians, an engineer, a draftsman, a Managing Director and a business owner. The technicians filmed have all been nominated for AMCA Training Achievement Awards.

The videos of the technicians involve them being interviewed while on the job, answering questions of how they started out in their careers and what they like about their jobs.

The video, ‘Drafting A Plan’ focuses on Draftsman, Michael Wapsas, his career and what drafting plans involves. The ‘Mechanically Minded’ video focuses on Mechanical Engineer, Daniel Sullivan, in particular on what it takes to be a mechanical engineer.

The ‘Owning an Air-Conditioning Business’ video focuses on an interview with Alex Hall, owner of A.C. Hall Air Conditioning, who discusses the industry from a business owner’s perspective and the benefits of owning an air conditioning business. The ‘Where the Trade Can Lead’ video focuses on an interview with A.G. Coombs Managing Director, Russell Telford, who outlines several possibilities of where the refrigeration and air conditioning trade can lead to.

Standing out from the others is the general, ‘Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning’ video, which is a montage of footage from the other videos.
