AIRAH’s Energy Efficient Industrial Refrigeration Course

Skills Slider

AIRAH are offering an Energy Efficient Industrial Refrigeration Course this year.

According to AIRAH’s website, their Energy Efficient Industrial Refrigeration Course “identifies and discusses best practices for making temperature-controlled warehouses and cooling, chilling and freezing within food processing and other facilities, more energy efficient.”

AIRAH’s website also states that the course aims to “improve energy efficiency in industrial refrigeration systems by changing the operating practices of food processing companies, cold storage and refrigerated warehouses and the allied trades that support them.” This course is also aimed at plant engineers, plant supervisors/managers, facility managers and sustainability managers.

AIRAH’s website also states that the topics that the course will cover includes but is not limited to: how energy is defined and measured, identifying improvements in system components to reduce energy use, identifying opportunities for heat recovery, and building a business case for energy efficiency.

Similarly to AIRAH’s Ammonia Safety Awareness Course, there seems to be no strict date on when the Energy Efficient Industrial Refrigeration Course can be held, with delivery being face-to-face and in-house over two days.

More information on AIRAH’s Energy Efficient Industrial Refrigeration Course can be found here.
