Women & Leadership Australia (WLA) are running a national initiative to support the development of female leaders across the trade skills and engineering industries.
The initiative is providing women with grants to enable participation in a range of leadership development programs.
The grants are available for women on three levels of leadership–aspiring talent, mid-level management, and senior management and executive level.
The aspiring talent grant provides a $3,000 part-scholarship for emerging female managers to undertake an Accelerated Leadership Performance Program.
The mid-level management grant provides a $4,000 part-scholarship for mid-level female managers to undertake an Executive Ready Program.
The senior management and executive level grant provides a $8,000 part-scholarship for senior female managers to undertake an Advanced Leadership Program.
All of the programs are part time and are delivered nationally via WLA’s blended learning model. The programs comprise of a combination of online and face-to-face learning, with theoretical and practical elements.
The programs will commence later this year, with expressions of interests being open for an extra week, closing on June 16. The recipients announced by June 30.
This isn’t the first time that WLA have run this initiative, with grants last being distributed in September last year. It is unknown if these grants will be distributed again next year.
For those are who are interested in applying for a grant, an expression of interest form can be found here.
