NSW Fair Trading have released a video on YouTube, Licensed and Loving It, starring tradies and why they love their licenses.
NSW Fair Trading released the video as part of NSW Fair Trading Week last week. In the video, various tradies who attended a NSW Fair Trading Expo, which are held regularly, urge consumers to conduct research on tradies before they hire them to do any work from them.
In the video, the starring tradies state that their licenses state that they have the skills, qualifications and experience required for the job at hand, which in turn provides consumer confidence. The starring tradies and NSW Fair Trading staff also stress to consumers to ask to see a tradie’s licence and to do an online licence check to confirm that the licence details are legitimate and correct.
